Job Title: Amazon/Ecommerce Specialist

Reports to: Sr. Manager, Marketing

Pay rate: $27.00

Full time 40 hours a week

Monday – Friday

8:00am to 5:00pm

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Sr. Marketing Manager, the Amazon/ Ecommerce Specialist position is responsible for the day to day operations of the Amazon Vendor Account, Chewy Vendor Account and other ecommerce marketplaces. The use of discretion, confidentiality and independent judgement is critical in all aspects to the work performed within this position.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for managing day to day operations of Amazon Vendor Account
  • Maintain integrity and accessibility of catalog across all partner channels, support product management, and listing optimization to ensure correct merchandise mix, product information, and pricing, including detailed maintenance and improvement of listings (title, description, images, reviews, prices, product specs, customer questions, etc.) to increase product ranking
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales and marketing strategies by brand, strategies that improve sales growth that include day-to-day operations around pricing, promotions, advertising, and listing optimization,
  • Ensure compliance to company and vendor policies.
  • Audit & report on marketplace performance metrics
  • Work across departments in Finance, Logistics, and Sales to make sure any back end amazon cases are dealt with accordingly.
  • Translate insights into dashboards, graphics and summaries to share with cross-functional partners & leadership and present on weekly basis.
  • Monitor all channels for errors, alerts, questions and inquiries, & MAP violators
  • Drive traffic and execute marketing campaigns to increase listing visibility and revenue through marketplace tools (including but not limited to Amazon Sponsored Ads, Promotions)
  • Manage Amazon advertising campaigns and budget. Includes creating promotions and getting product into reviewer’s hands and sites
  • Trouble shooting with Amazon platform
  • Review customer feedback and marketplace health, updating processes as needed
  • Analyze reports, present findings, and provide recommendations for areas of growth
  • Other tasks related to online marketplaces and broader eCommerce efforts as assigned

This position is primarily responsible for effectively managing sales through pet retail accounts, achievement of area sales goals and enforcing customer business plans. They will do so by performing the following duties personally and/or through subordinate employees.

Location: GA, TN, SC, AL, & MS.

Employment Type: Full-Time, Exempt Salaried Plus Commission.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Manage retail sales and promotional programs with all customers.

· Increase distribution at pet retail accounts.

· Drive secondary displays and price at all assigned accounts.

· Conduct regular and consistent sales/service/training calls on assigned retail accounts in support of organization or affiliate brands sales and distributor selling programs.

· Continued product education and training of retail staff at all accounts.

· Placement of new products and items at all identified retail accounts.

· Reporting in-depth sales and service activities to organization as required or assigned.

· Attending open houses, seminars and meetings as assigned by organization.

· Reliable Vehicle.

· Monthly car allowance, and mileage reimbursement.

· Current, valid driver’s license and current insurance coverage with a minimum liability limit of 100K/300K is required.

· Work will be performed largely in the field (stores, conferences, expos, etc.) not at home base, with travel being at least 65%.

· Hours of work will be mainly during regular customer business hours.
