Under the direction of the Director of Business Development, the Packaging Designer plays a crucial role in the product lifecycle, from initial concept to the final product on the shelf. The Packaging Designer is responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing innovative packaging solutions that enhance product appeal, brand identity, and functionality. This role involves collaborating with marketing, product development, and production teams to create visually compelling and structurally sound packaging that aligns with brand guidelines and industry regulations. The Packaging Designer must possess strong creative skills, technical knowledge of materials and printing processes, and the ability to balance aesthetic and practical considerations in packaging design. In addition, the Packaging Designer will work closely with lead designer and the Director of Business Development to develop packaging ideas that best suit client’s needs. Under the direction of the Sales Manager, the Territory Manager is responsible for, but not limited to, effectively managing sales and spend/promotional budgets through pet retail accounts, achievement of area sales as well as promotional budget goals by implementing customer business plans.
